Accounting Team Leader

Where we need you

Oversees daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank and petty cash reconciliation
Responsible for general ledger and sub-ledgers, including P&L analysis and journal entries
Supervision and guidance of accounting team
Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives and monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff
Oversees the system of internal controls over Accounting functions to minimize risk
Assists external auditors and provides required statements and information for the annual audit.
Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures
Performs month-end and year-end closing activities
Performs other related duties as assigned

How to convince us

Work experience requirements:

5 years of Financial accounting experience
SAP experience, FI module specifically
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
Advanced Excel skills (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, pivot tables, and using advanced formulas)
Results-oriented, structured and independent
Good oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team management skills
Ability to prioritize work

Education Requirements:

BS in Accounting or Business Administration highly preferred
CPA/CMA designation highly preferred
