At our Duncan, SC location we are searching for a:

HR Generalist - 2nd shift

Where we need you

  • Employee relations via daily interaction
  • Investigation and resolution of employee issues
  • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers/supervisors to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Responsible for communicating with staffing agency, temporary employees and supervision
  • Administer new hire on-boarding and orientation for full time and temporary employees
  • Payroll for temporary employees
  • Identify current and future staffing needs
  • Maintains training records and documents for all full time and temporary employees
  • Creates employee identification badges and gives appropriate access per employee
  • Attendance tracking
  • Employment Verifications
  • Compiles reports as needed
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned by manager
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by HR Director
  • Each employee is responsible for the quality of his/her personal performance and how said performance impacts the environment, safety, and data security. This is applicable to the departments of development, production, management, logistics, and after market services, as well as to contact with customers and suppliers. Managers and supervisors are also responsible for the quality of his/her team's performance and how said performance impacts the environment, safety, and data security.
  • This principle of comprehensive quality management is developed and furthered through training (on the job), continuing/ extended education, as well as continued supply of information and updates, and should be exemplified by supervisors on every level.
  • Knowledge of customer specific requirements (CSR) necessary through advanced training, or work experience or a combination of the two.

How to convince us

  • 2+ years general Human Resources experience preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
