Manager Quotation Americas

Where we need you

Manage and distribute workload within RFQ department NA
Lead the RFQ department by supporting team members to achieve individual goals
Report general status of the department to Senior Director Sales & Marketing Asia and Director Quotation Global
Provide team with general company information, company strategy, results, outlook, etc
Interface with Director Sales Americas in order to maintain awareness of sales strategy, current status of submitted RFQs, and upcoming RFQs
Interface with RFQ / Experts Teams to motivate and support the RFQ process elaboration
Maintain active involvement in Global RFQ projects and act as reference for local team
Act as upper management reference for special, high priority RFQs
Ensure that products are quoted accurately to support development and production implementation
Ensure continual improvement of quoting process for all projects
Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
Provide RFQ department training to new employees and departments as requested
May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency or not related to this classification on occasion

How to convince us

Bachelors Degree required
5+ years in Automotive with OEM or Tier 1
3+ years as a people leader
3+ years in cost estimating
Knowledge of plastics component manufacturing
Strong project management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills (multicutural)
