The Project Engineer represents a central figure within the R&D department. She/He will coordinate research projects related to the development of new products or processes. This position will focus on the following areas of interest: battery components, solutions for battery thermal management and vehicle thermal management.

Main responsibilities:

• Product concept development and early-stage feasibility analyses

• Management of assigned applied research projects from a technical, economic and timing aspect, as well as coordination of a cross-functional project team

• Management of relations with external partners

• Preparation of reports and technical-economic presentations on projects advancements both within the company and towards customers (OEMs).

• Degree in a technical field

• Project Management experience

• Prior experience in the field of electric propulsion systems and specific knowledge in some of the following fields: battery packs and cooling circuits; automotive norms and battery/car producer specifications; thermal and energy management strategies (battery charging, energy recuperation etc.); automotive batteries (Cylindric/prismatic/pouch, Li-Ion/SS, influence factors and market trends, aging and abuse); Battery thermal management; 1D/3D simulation tools; Testing at pack/module/cell level

• Good level of English and Italian
