Responsible for design of new And continuous improvement of existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to improve operating capability, compliance and process reliability, while maintaining all applicable safety, cost and quality standards; to develop best practices within the production process; to research and propose new equipment or equipment modification.

• Designs, develops and implements new composite pultrusion Formulations, processes and procedures that produce positive results.
• Ensures all new designs are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning process flow.
• Works closely with production and support personnel to solve critical process issues as well as develop and optimize process settings.
• Utilizes engineering principles and data analysis to reduce variation in manufacturing processes, thereby improving operating efficiency and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Develops innovative solutions and recommend new manufacturing technology.
• Interacts with Sales team and customer to understand performance criteria, review prints and ensure best possible solution to Customer need(s).

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering discipline.
• 5 – 10 years minimum experience manufacturing/process engineer, specifically pultrusion.
• Strong aptitude in problem solving using analytical tools, making process improves and technical writing.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Familiarity with quality systems, statistical process control, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Flexibility to work off shifts to accommodate Production support needs
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision to accomplish various tasks.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office application
