At our Akron, OH location we are searching for a:

Systems Administrator

Where we need you

  • Support and troubleshooting of windows servers, VMWare, Veeam and backup systems infrastructure.
  • Manage multiple projects/ priorities simultaneously.
  • Life cycle management of server hardware & software, including procurement, inventory management, and decommissioning of Windows Server Infrastructure.
  • Document server administration processes, procedures and disaster recovery plans
  • Responsible for Disaster Recovery and planning Windows Server Infrastructure and Server backup infrastructure.
  • Design server architecture, including capacity and performance planning Windows Environment.
  • Troubleshoot network issues assisting Network Administrator
  • End-user support for windows-based workstations and installed applications
  • UserID and network logon ID access management in Active Directory
  • Prioritize workload and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and follow issues through to completion
  • Explain technical issues clearly to customers to help them understand the technology options, and provide end-user training.
  • Assist End-user support for windows-based workstations and installed applications
  • Implements Corporate and Central IT Standards and Recommendations
  • Key concept user for Active Directory and group policies
  • Assures all assets are current and up-to-date in regards to patching and updates on all IT Windows Server Infrastructure.
  • Express ideas effectively in writing and verbally
  • Write clear, concise documentation.
  • Share ideas, skills, and knowledge with team members
  • Other Duties as Assigned

  • Knowledge of customer specific requirements (CSR) necessary through advanced training, or work experience or a combination of the two.

How to convince us

  • Associates Degree in related field or Technical Degree preferred with minimum of 2 years experience.
  • 3-5 years of IT experience preferably in manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to explain technical issues in laymen’s terms
  • Good People skills and the ability to work within a team
  • Will consider certificate in applicable discipline and 5 years experience.
