Under the direction of the Sustaplast Operations Manager, the Quality Production Support Technician is responsible for the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Daily quality control checks of all Sustaplast extrusion lines, including: Length, width, diameter, operating parameters, & lot numbers.
Daily UT inspection checks of all Sustaplast extrusion lines, Including:
Contact UT Testing of all extrusion lines
Completing daily production paperwork (production records), as needed/required, including: production reporting, quality control inspection and reporting
Ultrasonic testing, including:
In-line contact testing, contact testing and immersion testing.
Addressing and handling Non-conforming product, Including:
Confirmation and verification of non-conforming reason
Confirmation and verification of quantities
Documenting, labeling and reporting
Controlling, supervising and being responsible for disposition
Transfer of goods to the warehouse, including:
Confirmation and verification of quality, quantity and identification
Confirmation and verification of the accuracy of production records
Confirmation and verification of the accuracy of quality records
Line marking of materials, including:
Accuracy of product name, product description and lot number, if required
Addressing and handling RGAs – Return Goods Authorization, including
Confirmation, verification and assessment of customer’s return reason
Controlling, supervising, reporting and being responsible for disposition
