Senior Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational management with a focus on optimization of productivity, performance and efficiencies within our manufacturing operations. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day component and assembly manufacturing operations. These operations include the production of precision injection molded components and Finished Device Surgical and Diagnostic Systems. RMR is an ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered facility so all processes and procedures must comply with these requirements. The Operations Manager is also responsible to identify and implement Continuous Improvement activities to increase efficiencies and improve quality. The Operations Manager oversees a core group of Managers that are responsible for their respective departments. Goals are set up through an annual corporate budget and measured through a monthly Reporting File focused on P&L with supporting data. Internal KPI’s are also established annually and reviewed weekly, monthly and quarterly Ensuring policies and procedures are aligned with best practices and current objectives defined by the General Manager and Directors team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages the production equipment, manpower and materials of the company to meet both tactical and strategic goals and objectives of the business Plans and directs the scheduling and utilization of production manpower to meet manufacturing goals. Schedules equipment and personnel to produce parts to meet customer deliveries and inventory requirements. Analyzes and budgets staffing requirements to meet sales forecasts. Actively and regularly uses Performance Management in supervising employees. Manage Departmental Molding and Contract Manufacturing P&L to established targets Manages significant projects using project management tools and methods. Examples would include implementation of new equipment, products, production ramp-ups, and method or practice changes. Actively and collaboratively participates as member of the senior management team (directors and owners) of the company to achieve the strategic and tactical objectives of the Company. Actively monitors performance metrics of employees and processes recognizes employee improvement and assists employees to improve performance Drives Operational Excellence throughout the company and leads these efforts within department. Conducts frequent meetings with employees to provide information and to get feedback. Spends time on shop floor, talks with employees and listen empathetically to their concerns, and provides prompt and courteous responses. Actively recognizes desired and undesired employee behaviors. Lead Manufacturing group which includes Molding and Contract Manufacturing Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing Principles in all areas

How to convince us

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) and 5 or more year’s related experience in a manufacturing company preferably in a regulated industry like medical devices or pharmaceutical and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Education and experience in operations management, organizational behavior, public speaking, Lean or SS, production scheduling and materials management. Demonstrated project management, leadership, production planning, and process improvement experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft office with advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and effectively communicate both orally and in writing and present information and respond to questions knowledgeably. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
