Team Leader Tooling Engineering

Where we need you

Team Leader Tooling Engineering leads the Tooling Engineering Department and is responsible for all tooling activities and performances of this Department (region NA).
Supports the definition of Regional Strategy adapting the Tooling Engineering organization accordingly.
Responsible for the professional growth of the Tooling Engineers supporting them to overcome obstacles, resolving esclations, providing mission, necessary tools and training.
Responsible to support the product development evaluating tooling feasibility in a timely fashion of the design. Makes proposals with the target to keep the tools as simple and robust as possible.
Responsible all regional request for quotation to secure tooling quotes
Ensures compliance for Tooling tasks to Roechling Automotive Management of Projects phases (Advanced Development, RFQ, Serial Development) and acts proactively according to Röchling procedures and guidelines.
Monitors closely the progress of the all regional tool builds at the tool-makers, performs constructions reviews and supervises try-outs according to the procedures and the "project manual tools"

How to convince us

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Experience in tool-management and supervision of tooling
Knowledge and experience in mold flow simulation software
SAP experience
Knowledge of injection molding and/or compression molding tools
Experience working with multiple functions/departments
