ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities. Maintains documentation of same.
• Performs various testing and monitoring of facility to meet safety, regulatory and quality performance standards.
• Assists in the setting-up of equipment, workstations, and work cells.
• Inserts tools into machines and makes adjustments such as timing, indexing, feed rate, speed, sensing devices, and other machine parts that conform to engineering specifications and standards.
• Maintains production and quality logs/records.
• Maintains tools and work area to 5S and safety standards.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery or within the facility.
• Starts machines to test their performance.
• Assists workers in repair of basic machine adjustments.
• Shovel snow, treat grounds with ice melt and operate snow blower in winter months.
• Will be required to drive company vehicle to pick-up/drop-off parts and equipment and any other miscellaneous business errands requested by Manager.

Additional duties may be assigned.

MUST HAVE High School Diploma or GED; prior technical experience (industrial mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing) of 1+ years; have general ability to operate a personal computer and have basic software knowledge; operate powered equipment; be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Must be able to work on ladders and/or scissor lift and pass a background check with the ability to drive a company vehicle. A current, valid PA Driver’s License is required.
